In 2000 Brandon joined the Airforwarders Association and was elected as Chairperson in 2001, serving for two consecutive terms. In August 2005 he sold his interest in Adcom Worldwide and began consulting air cargo companies on business strategy and management practices.

Brandon represents the Association on all security matters and currently serves on the Aviation Security Advisory Committee (ASAC) working group in counsel to the Transportation Security Administration.

A graduate of Syracuse University, Brandon is currently a candidate for a master’s degree in business administration and lives in Chevy Chase, Md. with his wife Kim and two children, Evan and Jordan.

In February of 2008, he was appointed to the position of Federal Security Director in Norfolk Va, where his responsibilities include aviation, both Commercial and GA, Passenger and Freight Rail, Pipeline, Maritime and Surface. His professional experience included working for the New York City Emergency Medical Service as a Level IV Paramedic and later he retired from the New York City Police Department as a Police Officer.  Post retirement he worked as the Assistant Director of Security for the Sachem School District located in NY.

His formal education consists of a Bachelors degree in Security Management and a Masters degree in Labor Policy Studies both from the State University of New York, Empire College. He is married to Eileen, and they have three boys, David, Daniel, and Avi.
